香茅柠檬水 Lemonade with Serai Syrup

  • 香茅柠檬水
  • 材料:
  • 1杯 白糖 
  • 2支 香茅,用刀背将它拍扁,切成小段。
  • 1杯 清水
  • 3粒 柠檬,取汁 
  • 2粒 酸柑,取汁
  • 海盐 少许 
  • 2杯 冰块 
做法:
白糖、香茅用清水煮开转小火煮剩半小时,加海盐,关炉火,待凉备用。
将柠檬汁、酸柑汁和香茅糖浆放入大玻璃杯中,加冰块和清水,拌匀即可。


Lemonade with Serai Syrup 

  • 1 cup granulated sugar                    
  • 2 stalks Serai ( lemongrass), bruised lightly with the side of a knife and cut into 1/2-inch pieces  
  • 3 cups water
  • 1 cup fresh lemon juice (from about 3 large lemons)
  • 1/2 cup fresh lime juice (from about 2 limes)
  • Pinch salt
  • 2 cup ice cube 
In a small saucepan, combine the sugar, lemongrass pieces, and water and bring to a boil, stirring to dissolve the sugar. Lower the heat and simmer for 20 min. Remove the syrup from the heat; let it sit for about an hour. Strain it into a glass pitcher. Just before serving, add the lemon juice and lime juice. Stir well and add the ice. Serve in tall glasses with more ice.
